To understand how to make your videos work, you need to understand your target audience.

Key points of a target audience
Age - How old they are
Gender - Are they male or female
Interests - What are their genre interest
Class - are they upper class, lower class, working class etc
Geographical - Where do they live in the world
Hobbies - Do they have any hobbies


My Ident - Closed Doors Production

My ident is all in cartoon, There's an open door in the distance and you hear a woman's heals walking slowly towards the door, after six seconds, the door slams shut. Ending with Closed Door Production on screen.

This ident is mainly used for Psychological British Drama's, because they're my most interest in films and what my company finds most interesting.

Target audience age would be thirty one to thirty five, as the films I would be producing will aim for a mature - middle aged audience.

Gender would be females, I'd be reaching out to females because of the sound of the heal, while the unknown woman slams the door. Also, the main characters in the films i'll be producing will be females.

Interests - The interests will be photography, business and British films, mainly photography because I'd be using different angles with the camera and different techniques. Business because they'll relate to the characters being shown, as they'll be working high in a business or either owning the business. Finally British films, as they have a dark and gritty feel to them.

Class - The class that I'd mainly be aiming for would have to be Middle to Upper class, as the audience needs to be mature, and I feel they need to either have important job roles in their career.

Geographical - I'd be aiming this for women who live in the United Kingdom, mainly down south central (aka London) as I'd mainly be showing dark gritty British drama that are psychological. I feel like they'll need to relate because the films that I'll be showing will have characters from the general public, normal lives etc.

Hobbies - Their hobbies will mainly be photography, because with the Films i'd be showing, they'll have a range of different photographic techniques. Using different angles and tricks to intrigue the target audience.
