My ident - Closed Doors Production
09:58Before creating the final ident on AfterEffects. I drew two images on Photoshop, one image with the
door open and another with the door closed.
This is the image with the door closed. I added detail into the walls to make this look like an abandoned building, with loads of questions unanswered. I lot of detail went into the floor boards so they wouldn't get harsh tones and lines. I smudged them all together so they merged and weren't too harsh.
I added the two images together on AfterEffects, then added a light layer which swings side to side to give a creepy and mysterious affect. I added three sound effects to make the ident more effective, otherwise it wouldn't be as interesting and wouldn't make as much sense with the soundtrack. Towards the end, it cuts to a shot of Closed Doors Productions, panning away from each other slowly.
I did this by adding key frames, and moved the x position until the end of the sequence. I did the same with moving the light side by side. Between each swing, I used the keys, Ease In and Ease Out just to smooth up the swing, for making it look more realistic.
